Default A Taste of Our Apparent Future

My wife is a flight attendant. She has friends all over the place and has been all over the world and has seen many different cultures. She just returned to work after a year's absence with cancer. She got back to work and met up with her friend Mary who is from England. Mary's elderly mother became ill and was put into a special ward at the hospital where they leave old people to die. They receive no treatment and no food or water. Mary rushed home from the USA becaue they told her that her mother would not last 24 hours. She stayed with her mother several days and finally went home to shower and get some sleep. When she returned, the room was filled with first year medical students who were taking turns sticking her with needles for practice. She had a fit and kicked them all out.

This ward is called the Death Path <something>. It is walled off. Nobody in to visit or any of that. Charts are kept not on the beds but outside on the closed door so the doctor will not have to enter the room.

Now get this: in jolly old England when you get sick, if you have not given health power of attorney to a child or whomever (in wiriting, of course) the STATE takes literal possession of you and does whatever it wants with you! Mary learned this the hard way when she tried to take mom home and they refused to let her. Her mother died of apparent starvation. They gave her NOTHIING to make her comfortable. No drugs. No IV fluids. No food. No water. The woman was crying and they ignored her for 8 days until she fell silent for the last time.

This occurred this past December. The next time anyone tells you that such things don't exist and that England's medical system is so great, I recommend you knock several of their teeth out for lying or being criminally ignorant.

This is what is coming to the USA unless we stop it. Make no mistake about that.

    ignominia et contemptum tyrannis

Habeo excelsum artem; afflixerim cum crudelitate illis qui laedas me

The affairs of gold-laden Gyges do not interest me.
Zealousy of the gods has never seized me nor anger
at their deeds. But I have no love for great tyranny
for its deeds are very far from my eyes. -Archilochus

I would have beat the piss out of one of them.

They haven't found a cure for cancer yet because they don't want to. There is too much money in the treatment of it.
