Does anyone know which laws he is talking about? He says there are already laws against pornography that aren't being enforced?

Current federal “obscenity” laws prohibit distribution of hardcore (obscene) pornography on the Internet
    Is this true?

We should enforce existing laws, if they in fact do exist. Pornography is a terrible scourge on the country, but I don't see it being enforceable to ban it. Personally I would love for it to be completely banned, but politically, I don't want the Federal government to have that kind of power.

When you say you want to "ban" pornography, do you mean you want it to not exist because people no longer demand it, or you want to use violence against non-violent citizens?

I don't think Jesus would approve of using violence against non-violent people. Seems very un-Christian to me. Jesus went around and preached to people and tried to persuade them to follow the gospel that way.

Satan was the one who wanted to force everybody not to sin so everybody could get into heaven.

People who want to ban pornography I think have a strong Satanic element in their hearts.

Once again, how does banning pornography (one of the countries only booming industries) help improve our economy?

This is another example of Rick Santorum focusing on stupid, pointless issues that nobody cares about.

It's about time someone put us in our place and got this whole "freedom of speech/expression" thing under control. Hopefully he will also push Congress to pass a law that married adults must have the light turned off before undressing in front of one another. It's just blatant obscenity in the private homes of American citizens. It's dangerous to let "the people" have too much freedom. They might just take over.

Attempting to outlaw pornography would probably mean more of it. Just like per capita more Americans smoke marijuana than their counterparts in Amsterdam (where it's legal).
