Default Any RP delegates in VA's 6th district?

Hey, everyone. I'm trying to piece together whether or not I should try to become a delegate in the 6th district. I finally found the application and discovered that there is still time to apply. There is a $100 application fee as well. My question is this: are there other RP supporters out there who are applying to be delegates from the 6th district? If so, great. I just don't want to pay my money, go through the hassle and find out that there are 200 other RP supporters wanting to be delegates in our district. I'm happy to do it but I'd like to get a sense of who else out there is also planning on applying.

    Thanks!
    Laura

everyone should become a voting delegate to the county/CD conventions, that's not the same as being a delegate to the national convention
“If ye love wealth greater than liberty, the tranquility of servitude greater than the animating contest for freedom, go home from us in peace. We seek not your counsel, nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you; May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.”

@akbopper -- I just sent you a PM. If anyone else in the 6th needs help on the delegate process here, PM me with your city/county location.

As thoughtomator said, everyone should sign up to be delegates to county/CD conventions. Everyone who files is elected, barring strange circumstances that I've never seen.

Thanks for the responses. I essentially needed some help navigating the processes for local delegates. I'm totally new to this scene and am not even familiar with all of the terminology. I've not been able to locate any local (Staunton/Augusta Co.) grass roots groups to talk to but someone got me the info I need.

How's the support for Karen Kwiatkowski looking in your district?

In the southern part of the district where I live, name recognition is still pretty low. The usual suspects in the liberty movement here were focusing on Super Tuesday for the first part of the year and we're just now bringing some manpower to the Kwiatkowski campaign. The primary is in June, so we should have plenty of time to get the work done. I'm just speaking for the southern part of the district. Karen's been pretty active in the central and northern parts of the district, so things may be further along there.

Thanks for the heads up! Good luck in the coming months.

I'm in Staunton and I've not seen her name around much yet.
