Default Obama assures Israel US force an option on Iran

    http://www.ajc.com/news/nation-world...s-1371879.html

President Barack Obama said Sunday he would not hesitate to attack Iran to keep it from getting a nuclear bomb, hoping a forceful assurance will discourage Israel from launching a unilateral strike that could ignite the Middle East and drag the U.S. into war.

We'd be in a war anyways though...

WWIII is inevitable at this point.

I had hoped the US would be able to stay out of it directly..

    That hope is fading.
Liberty is lost through complacency and a subservient mindset. When we accept or even welcome automobile checkpoints, random searches, mandatory identification cards, and paramilitary police in our streets, we have lost a vital part of our American heritage. America was born of protest, revolution, and mistrust of government. Subservient societies neither maintain nor deserve freedom for long.

I watched the whole speech today and he also said "I prefer peace over war" but people conveniently ignore that part. What was he supposed to do? He was at the AIPAC conference.

And it's playing out exactly as predicted.

Christian Zionism v. Islam. After the war has ended, the world government will be established in Jerusalem and the temple shall rise and be adorned for its inevitable leader.

a supporter shouted, "Use your leadership! No war on Iran!"
"No one's announced a war, young lady," Obama said, drawing applause
"We don't have a first amendment so that we can talk about the weather. We have the First Amendment so that we can say very controversial things. So for people to say that yes we have our religious beliefs protected, but people who want to follow something else or a controversial religion, you can't do this, if you have the inconsistency then you're really not defending liberty." -- Ron Paul

    'I prefer peace over war"

Have you seen any evidence of that statement being true?

Obama is just as bad as the Republicans on these kind of issues. I'd say he's a bigger warmonger than Bush was.

If he "prefers peace over war," then he should bring our troops home from Afghanistan immediately and put an end to the trajedy.

What about Canada? What about when we nearly went to war with Russia over Arctic oil? Why the hell didn't America back us up then!?
