I remain optimistic, but everyday the tv is playing in the shop breakroom and never once have I seen dr paul mentioned. I am surrounded by anyone but obama folks, and the only reason for that is "he's a n******). Sad but true. I do feel optimistic though because the message of liberty is spreading like wildfire, and once you learn something, you can't unlearn it.

Those are the facts. And I too support an Indy run. Unless there is a major unforeseen event that can wake the primary voters up, I believe too many people in RPF are going to be very depressed after next Tuesday.

I hope I am wrong but there isn't anything going on for us to change things around in the short time we have.
All other arguments aside regarding an indy run, Ron Paul has even said himself that running third party is always difficult as you do not get to participate in the debates. The chances are we would not be able to get Ron Paul on the ballots in all states. In the end this would only serve up Obama another four years. I would not mind an indy run as I would like to send a message to the establishment GOP who has treated a good man with disdain.

Ron Paul is a force of nature. The domesticated lifestyles we live now are so unnatural Mother Nature has no choice but to bring us all back to earth. Ron Paul is rust in the machine ...its only a matter of time.

Not difficult. It was accomplished in 1992 and 1996. Ron is already polling above the threshold needed to participate in the debates as an Indy. In a 3 way, Ron pulls 19%. It probably would serve up another 4 years of Obama assuming everything else remains constant. If an Indy run was made by anyone after March, it won't be hard to get on the ballot in all states. Remember, about 35 states are done by the end of March and we will have a winner by then IMO. Making a decision by whoever to run Indy needs to be made shortly after.

I just want someone else to vote for besides the two people that are forced down are throats by the media and the establishment which are basically the same. We are being forced to choose between Romney and Santorum right now.

Be responsible. Take care of yourself. Don't tread on other people. Slow down. Question everything. Start now.

LP has ballot access and as far as I know can run whoever they want, whenever they want.

Read my previous post in this thread. I do not believe that it is possible for Paul to get on the ballot as an Independent in most states. In most states the filing deadline for the primary is the same as the general, the exceptions being CT, IA, VT & NY. The only option would be to go to the LP which has ballot access.
