That's too smart though.. Average IQ of a cop is about 105, I believe.

It makes no sense to hire people that are dumber than the average person to act as cops, and wield guns and weapons..

I was told that the reason they only hire people with that IQ is because people with a higher IQ would get bored too easily, and they would leave.

Unless you work for the state.
These days, it's better to farm. My cousins have a decent farming operation, but the family farmers are very rare. My grandpa and uncle still farm their small acreage; however, my cousins are your typical commercial farming business. They don't do business with Monsanto though. We have a few seed producers here in Indiana which still remain competitive.

A negligent discharge is a negligent discharge. If he fired into the ground, he obviously didn't believe deadly force was reasonable, therefore he shouldn't have fired. If you're going to pull the trigger, you put the round into the bad guy along with however many more are required to stop the threat or criminal activity.

I'm not saying he should have been arrested or charged, but a negligent discharge is a negligent discharge and there is no excuse.
