Default Ron Paul says he can still win the Republican nomination - good write up

Ron Paul would be correct then. Especially if he won Washington and then four states on Super Tuesday.

Of course Ron Paul can win the nomination. When a presidential candidate draws massive crowds wherever he goes, the only reason to count him out would be rigged elections. Whoever has the most supporters is supposed to win. At least that's what they told me in school.

Can someone explain to me how we draw crowds like this, and Romney can't even fill a room in Denver, yet we lose! ARRRRRG!!

He can win the nomination, but the real question is WILL he. There is a lot of things so far that could have happened, but didn't.

I'll explain how. While Santorum, Romney, and Newt supporters are generally not excited about their candidate, most of them sure don't like (or even hate) Paul, and they tend to be voting blocks that actually turn out to the polls. Add to this the fact that while Paul supporters are some of the most vocal and always ready to show up at a rally, they are often either not registered with the right party or not registered to vote at all, or still feel that Ron can't win so why bother coming out to vote -- and there ya have it.

I was circulating ballot petitions yesterday in my neighborhood, getting signatures to put Ron Paul on the ballot in NJ, and as soon as you mention the name "Ron Paul", most people would say "nope, thank you, not interested" and start closing the door. A couple people at least decided to sign when I stated again that it's not an endorsement, it's just to put him on the ballot, but most wouldn't even have that. So the media has done a splendid job stacking the deck against us, and if we don't do EVERYTHING we can do, such as identifying and getting ALL our supporters out to the polls, we won't achieve our objective. There's much work to be done on a constant basis.

My hope is not in Ron Paul. My hope is that every one of these Americans stays with the cause and continues to fight for this country.

I'm in tears from watching that video too.

"Governor, if I had foreseen the use those people designed to make of their victory,
there would have been no surrender at Appomattox Courthouse; no sir, not by me.
Had I foreseen these results of subjugation, I would have preferred to die at Appomattox
with my brave men, my sword in my right hand."
