I give them tons of credit for thinking outside the box, and I thank them for the wonderful ads that they've produced.

I think if they tempered expectations sometimes, though, they'd give us less "sigh-inducing" moments, and more that caused us to say "oh, that's neat!"

Was there really a need to go all GAME CHANGING on us with this?

They are as bad as Matt Collins.

If they can't raise any money they should take the talented people and merge with Endorse Liberty. Leave Gary Franchi to do what he does elsewhere.

Then Endorse Liberty can hire some political strategists and a professional fundraiser, then we can start seeing some results.

Good idea for an app. Bad idea releasing it only for Android. RP application programmers need to move to a multi-platform development tool like Rhomobile.

    http://www.rhomobile.com

Then we could release to Andoid, iPhone, Blackberry and Windows Mobile simultaneously.

Yep a phone app is going to change the whole game and fix this election where Santorum can poll 45% in Ron's home state. Great.

Here's how the game has changed. In 2008 the establishment could get by mostly on just ignoring/smearing Ron Paul. That's no longer very effective. So outright voter fraud is coming into play. This probably isn't the first time this has happened, but this is the first time that the GOP has been caught so red handed that it became a national news story, albeit and undercovered one. And sure, the poll watching app won't fix everything. But it can chip away at the establishment's teflon coating.

    Proof?

If the Paul campaign isn't contesting Maine... doesn't that tell you something?

Sure. That they probably made a calculation that raising a stink about it after the Maine GOP was already forced to change the vote isn't worth the hassle. The fact that the was undeniable vote fraud doesn't mean it was enough to change the outcome. There might have been similar situations in other counties, but who ever on the ground wasn't as sharp as the guy in the OP video so the GOP could have got away with it. The campaign isn't going to contest an entire state just because fraud was found in one area without having something else to go on.

It could be useful to compile all the results in an easy to read, real time app.

The problem is the exit polling. People can always say they voted different than they did. What would be useful is an app that records and logs and uploads a small piece of video with the announced results of each vote (though they dont always count the votes publicly which is the problem). After each vote is announced RP people can then enter the voting result data to update the central app.

This still doesn't remedy user error though (RP people could enter the wrong thing) but it seems better than a bunch of novices logging exit poll data from the public outside the polls were the user error could likely double (people lying about who they voted for and RP logging bad or erroneous data).

Also I don't think chasing people around with smart phones asking who they voted for is the best image for Ron Paul supporters. It will be seen as disrespectful unless it is conducted by an unbiased third party. This app should be used to protect the real vote results not to report speculation and harass voters..

No stop! First will everything to the Ron Paul campaign (to the legal limit afterward you may choose the Ron Paul PAC of your choice).
