    PPP Michigan just released shows Ron Paul's favorability numbers among GOP Michigan primary voters SURGING.

    Candidate Today 2/13 Change
    Santorum 37 39 -2
    Romney 33 24 +9
    Paul 15 12 +3
    Gingrich 10 11 -1

    Should Gingrich Drop out?

    Yes 47%
    No 40%
    Not Sure 13%

    Michigan without Gingrich:

    The same phenomenon has been seen on the national level as well. Any ideas from forum members on why his favorability has finally increased? I can't pinpoint it to one specific event...

    I think the romney people perceive Paul as some sort of ally since he's been knocking Santorum lately.

    Whitney Houston's death being talked about 24/7 on cable news stations made people realize how idiotic they actually are?

    Ron Paul is out of Clute, Texas and out Campaigning hard. The crowds have been huge, the word is beginning to get out not just in the State's he is campaigning in, but nationally as well.

    Most likely because the other candidates haven't been attacking him and the media barely mentions him.
