For those of you who do not game, Steam is a software platform for a PC gaming store and community. For a while now there have been a few different Ron Paul groups in the community but we really need to push to make a unified group to help spread the message. At any given time Steam has 4 million active users, this is a huge community to spread into.

Any ideas on how to make a strong foothold in this community would be very helpful, for example one idea might be to try and combine all these groups and get them involved on the forum.

People are underestimating the gaming/geek/internet culture community.

Ive been trying to push Ron in those communities. Also ^^, nice we have 800 members in our steam group now. more more more!

Yeah make it clear that Paul is the only one out there who's actively against all the draconian policies that mess with gaming (e.g. SOPA/PIPA and the like) and that'll be a real motivator for a lot of them (us?) I'm not on steam myself but I know among gamers I've spoken with personally one of the biggest motivators is 'leave me alone and let me get back to gaming'. But they're also (on average) tech savvy and willing to read/research a bit if something catches their attention so combine that with SOPA/ACTA et al and you've got a really good case for Paul
