If this all pans out as the campaign is saying, this is going to be one insane Spring and Summer.

Thank goodness we get some kind of indication from the campaign.

Maddow seemed befuddled. She failed to pose the question to Wead whether the delegate(s) in question had an ethical or moral obligation to vote as the caucus voters had popularly endorsed.

Non-binding is what they are correct? How often do delegates break from straw poll preference?

I came here to post this, but was beaten. Hopefully this puts a smile on the face of those being negative on here about the popular vote results.

Remain diligent and keep working hard. Do not become complacent, get the hell off these boards and facebook and go find 10+ people to drag to your primary/caucus with you when you vote. And if you still can in your state, study Roberts Rule of Order and become a delegate. Even if you are required to be pledged to someone else due to a popular vote or not, do it! If the national convention goes brokered, you become unpledged and can switch your delegate pledge to the Paul camp.

Get offline and connect with the older and younger voters, and friends, and relatives, and coworkers, and classmates in your state to go vote for Paul whenever you can, network and make connections and keep in contact with people who switch to the Paul camp to get out and vote when your state is up at the plate.

I am, however, just a bit perplexed as to why the campaign seems so willing to broadcast and highlight this strategy, partcularly so early in the process.

God she makes the delegate strategy sound so.. ignoble.

"Please select your preference for the Republican nominee" **Ticks Santorum** "Your vote has been counted as RON PAUL. Thank you."

Ah well. The Paul people know the rules better .
