I don't think large turnout is a good thing for Ron. It could help Romney.

So when do we get the RESULTS for Maine?

Why is nobody talking about this exerpt:

"He also reported that all slates are filled with traditional candidates who stand for limited government while protecting the neediest and believe in setting priorities that keep the State of Maine on a sound financial footing."

    Disagree.

Maine is different from other states. It is one of the lowest turnout caucus's in the nation. Romney won with 2,000 votes in 08.

That tells us that people dont go to the Maine caucus, and it makes perfect sense....no one wants to drag themselves out of their house in the middle of february to go to some hour long thing.

The fact that a lot of people are showing up means that there is EXCITEMENT this time, and i'd be willing to bet that Ron is driving that, not Mitt. So the fact that people are actually attending one of the least attended caucuses in the nation is good IMO.

We need to get rid of these super delegate party leader stuff\party elders.

No reason why those people should be delegates.

    "Traditional" is a vague word.

Remember, this is of the Maine GOP website, there trying to build up support for their cause. To a liberal, Mitt and Ron are both considered 'traditional'.
