+rep to Peter Thiel. Thank you sir
The Matrix is a system, Neo. That system is our enemy. But when you're inside, you look around, what do you see? Businessmen, teachers, lawyers, carpenters. The very minds of the people we are trying to save. But until we do, these people are still a part of that system and that makes them our enemy. You have to understand, most of these people are not ready to be unplugged. And many of them are so inured, so hopelessly dependent on the system, that they will fight to protect it.

Good man. I'd love to see the rest of our millionaire/billionaire supporters follow his lead, even if it were a much lesser amount.

Each time a person stands up for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he sends forth a tiny ripple of hope, and crossing each other from a million different centers of energy and daring, those ripples build a current which can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance." Okay I got a really awful impression of Thiel from that movie "Social Network." This makes me think the movie sorta made the guy look bad when maybe he really isn't quite so bad after all.

Now if the other guys that looked like total shits in that flick would pony up....(Shawn Parker and Mark Zuckerberg - you both look like complete jerks. I felt sorry for Zuckerberg the first time I watched it but on the second and subsequent viewings, that image changed. A lot.)

And if the guy who looked like the hero in that movie would step up - oh oh OH how happy I would be! (Edwardo Saverin? - That guy was a good guy.)

eta: says the woman who is NOT on facebook! lol!

Why can't everybody else leave everybody else alone?
