    Nomination rules rigged against conservatives

    http://www.weeklystandard.com/blogs/...es_616072.html

More or less explains why we keep seeing folks like Romney, McCain and Giuliani always make it as the "front runner" at some point. Something to think about.

Once the nomination is over, win or lose, we have GOT to find a way to reshape these rules better on a state-by-state basis starting with SC, IA and NH!!

We and Ron need to make the election process much more even and fair. Make it so third party has a fighting chance... so this 2 party bullcrap doesnt happen again.

But to do this, we need to take over the parties to begin with. The problem isn't the parties, it's the people running them. Parties are but an empty vehicle. The Republican and democrats and any other party can change platforms any number of ways. But it's all so esoteric and boring that so many people don't understand the importance or direct relevance to their lives.

This. Ron Paul told us back in 2007 what we needed to do. This is why our organization is better than last time - but really people - if you're not willing to DRIVE the ship, quit whining about where it's headed!

Maybe before 2016 we will learn that we need to have candidates and volunteers willing to run and win local elections before we start thinking about national, starting with GOP committee positions, Sheriff's, Judges, State legislators.

They do have a chance, the problem is that third parties like the LP and CP concentrate on a small niche of issues and therefore find their following with primarily hardcore ideologues, instead of trying to build a larger base they exclude anyone who isn't 100% pure with their way of thinking. You need to look no further than the LP and CP which agree on 95% of issues, but it's that 5% that they disagree on that causes them to have two different parties dividing up money, people and resources.

We have that already and the libertarian wing of the GOP is growing in the number of elected officials we have. Just look at the decent support we had from state senators in SC. Though it did not wind up helping in SC, we can feel good knowing that the heir apparent to the DeMint seat is one of us.

Very interesting article, though I laughed at:
"As you can see, during the competitive phase of the nominating battle, John McCain did hardly better than Mitt Romney, who that year was identified as the conservative in the race."
"Ron Paul, not going anywhere. Ideologically pure and tough as nails!"

ABO + NOBP = Ron Paul
    Romney - NOBP = Obama

We warned you. You insulted and cheated us. You lost. Your fault.
