    The crowds overflowed from two lecture halls, apparently....

    Not to point out the negative of a good problem, but maybe they could get a bigger venue? If I traveled an hour to see Ron Paul, I would want to be in the same room as him.

    Yeah, the main room was a lot bigger than this one, though.... I don't think they knew what crowds they were getting....

    Awesome!!

    Reminds me of the 500 overflow in Ames in 2008 when Ron packed the 1000 person auditorium there.

    That's arround 500 people. If they all vote for RP it would be a decent percentage of the overall votes.

    Safe to say the number of people that attended Ron's events (combined) would be enough to give him 20-25% alone if turnout is 8000ish again. How about all those that haven't attended yet, I really hope we win this

    From what I read on Wikipedia, around 5500 people showed up in 2008. That's quite a low turnout.

    Yeah, but independents weren't voting GOP that year, nor Dems. Obama was organizing voters in the primary, and Bush left a 'no GOP' taste in people's mouths.
