    Really? No, couldn't be....

That's okay. If Newt wins SC, the Romney coronation will be postponed, or perhaps even canceled.

P.S. Anyone who doesn't think that first question wasn't lobbed at Newt to prop him up is stoned.

If Newt wins SC it will bee portrayed as a two way race between Newt and Romney, a vote for Paul will bee seen as wasted. I think a Romney victory is much better it will most likely force Santorum and Gingrich out after Florida.

Gingrich cancels campaign event, poor attendance

CHARLESTON, S.C.—Newt Gingrich has cancelled a campaign appearance in South Carolina because of poor attendance.

The Republican presidential candidate was scheduled to speak to the Southern Republican Leadership on Friday. But a campaign spokesman told reporters that he would no longer be appearing due to poor attendance.

There were just a few dozen people in the audience at the College of Charleston's arena, where the event was taking place. The conference has suffered from low attendance all week but Gingrich rival Rick Santorum went ahead and addressed the group on Thursday.

Gingrich's spokesman said skipping the stop would give the former House speaker more time at his next scheduled event, a tour of a children's hospital.

Wow, he must be getting low on cash. Surely he could have PAID an audience to attend...no?
