Folks, same drill as in Iowa. Ad blitz for GOTV. This could make the difference between Ron coming in second or third place in New Hampshire.
Here was our ad spend from the Iowa blitz:
On caucus day alone our ads targeting primarily dems/indys/youth reached 374,099 Iowans, displaying over 4 million times an average of 10.9 times per person. 1,157 people clicked through to http://iowaforpaul.com An additional ~700 people clicked through to the same site on another Facebook account I had access to, with a donor spending $1,500 of his own money to get even more people there.
So about 2,000 people clicked through to get caucus info, and a heck of a lot more people than that got favorable impressions of Ron before caucus day. Exactly how that impacted the results, who knows.
All I know is New Hampshire is especially ripe for us to do the same thing, targetting dems/indys/youth again. (Registered Dems can't register Republican on the spot, right? Just independents?)
The questions:
-- Should we run attack ads? Against whom and on what issues?
-- Should we just attempt to turn out indys? Youth?
-- What link should the people clicking through the ads land on? I don't have a nhforpaul.com page ready - I could create one, but it would take ~2 hours and I'd like to start the ads as soon as possible.
-- Does anyone else want to volunteer their Facebook account to be used? I can just hook up the PayPal account linked to the ChipIn to multiple Facebook accounts. So there is no $2,000/day limit to worry about. We can spend whatever we raise.
-- Who will donate? Who will help raise money? How much can we raise?
