RevPAC "Compassion" ad to air 3x during ABC-WMUR NH debate Saturday!

EDIT: please no one re-post the unlisted Youtube vid below. For discussion in this thread only.

Yep, not national, but anyone picking up the ABC-WMUR broadcast in NH will see the :60 commercial 3x during the debate.

In addition, there will be 186 more airings in in the days leading up to the Jan 10 NH primary. ABC-WMUR evening news, Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, History and Discovery. Regionally for NH only on all these.

    Awesome!

Is it the full minute ad?

I like the full ad more, but that is not practical to air...this is still great!

you guys have other good ads though...why not three different ones?

this ad is mainly to bust the racism charge but that has blown over right?

Pretty sure it'd cost more to air three different ads, and plus people just tuning in for the debate will see it.

hmm... didn't think of that...is it true?

i would think it would be best to attack the three pillars of discontent -

    1) electibility ad
    2) anti - newsletter ad
    3) foreign policy ad

I'm not so sure it has blown over. Glenn Beck was talking about them again yesterday, and if we know the media, they will bring them up in the debate, showing quotes/clips from them on screens...why? Because it's a non-topic to a country that is $15 trillion in debt.

    Marketing 101.

3 different ads is too much information to expect to an audience to keep in their head. If people come away with just this single ad in their mind when thinking about Ron Paul, then that should match your best expectations.

people respond more to hearing the same thing over and over. that is why you often see ads over and over and over again. i believe it's a common psychological marketing tactic.

Revpac coming through....full ad is better..but nit much you can do about that
"The rifle itself has no moral stature, since it has no will of its own. Naturally, it may be used by evil men for evil purposes, but there are more good men than evil, and while the latter cannot be persuaded to the path of righteousness by propaganda, they can certainly be corrected by good men with rifles." —Jeff Cooper

I know it's implied but why did they take out the most important part? "As far as the bill, he said he would take care of everything".

    What I was thinking.

I agree that removing the stillborn line and replacing with "he said he'll take care of it" would be or could be appropriate. But I wouldn't put it past the media to bring up the omission of that and say "revpac is dishonest with their ad... ron delivered a still**** baby" etc.. and paint it negative. can't win.
Great editing. I'll have to think about this some more in terms of mentioning it.

Awesome! I've been critical of RevPAC before, but I gotta say I really love that ad. Great job!

This is awesome. I like that you guys are running the same one 3 times. We have seen for two presidential runs, that the newsletters are the only way they can smear Paul's character. The more this Compassion ad is out there, the better.

This is probably revpac ad for sure, so I am happy to see it get airtime.
