Thread: Delegates, delegates, delegates! (And alternates!)

Lightbulb Delegates, delegates, delegates! (And alternates!)

Watching C-SPAN, it's painfully apparent that about 80-90% of people leave after the voting. Romney had about 100+ people voting and I think about 10 people left to select just 3 delegates! Probably most of these people aren't even fully committed to having to take time off and show up at the county convention!

About 15 Ron Paul supporters stayed to select 1 delegate, and only about 2 people wanted to be a delegate. No alternates were selected.

So for those of you in caucus states, make sure you stay and everyone sign up as either a delegate or an alternate.

Also makes me wonder if other campaigns don't have committed delegates or alternates, if you can "step in" and sign up for them as a stealth delegate/alternate...

REMEMBER that no matter the results in the Iowa caucuses, that the Iowa caucuses are non-binding - no delegates are awarded.

CSpan-1 had a precinct run by a Romney man. He saw the group shrink after the poll.
He even asked for issues and proposals, only to have a silence come back at him. He
sent only a balanced budget amendment request onto the county caucus. just saying.

Here's the strategy for caucus states - KNOW IN ADVANCE your designated Paul delegates. Then depending on the # of delegates for Paul you get at the end of the voting, the other Paul delegates and alternatives should go and be stealth delegates for the other candidates.

You are doing the other people there a service - who are not as committed or not as knowledgeable about the issues and have proper representation at the county convention. And remember what we are doing - saving this country! That's more important than being scared to step up and represent!

Bump. Yes that is what's important and I don't want to see us concede one f'ing delegate to Mitt Romney. Not at all! We are his only competition in at least 25 states.

C-Span already showed at least some Paul delegates going to the county conventions. Stop spreading this disinformation.
