FEC will release the reports on 1/15 or so, or campaigns can report it to the media early if they want.

That is because Romney has done the standard tactic of getting the big money sources that would benefit from his Presidency to contribute.
Ron has not done the same. I made a fairly obvious suggestion here that Ron should do the same, and I noted the gold and silver investment community in particular.
No doubt there are others, such as export manufacturers and farmers who are fearful of trade wars with China.
In large part, this is how campaigns are normally funded. I repeat, this is the norm. The campaign did not do this.
