mstrmac1 in another thread suggested this as not responding to the media's witch hunt, but returning to Ron's narrative in an upbeat way.

I think it is a terrific idea.

In my mind, at least, the videos write them selves. This song:



The scrolling text of the indefinite detention language and section number, the patriot act dilution of the probable cause standard for warrants and ability to confront your accusers to defend your privacy, FISA....

It is an energizing theme. They are trying to connect Ron with racism to drain supporters of energy and depress turn out of the young particularly. We need to remind them of what we are fighting for, and there is only one candidate whom we can trust to address this.

Obviously, we want to be sure not to send out a conspiracy theory vibe. We're saying this is indecent, not watch out for FEMA coffins

But no other candidate is scratching this itch.

I agree, and it is sort of a public service announcement at the same time -- to people who aren't following this stuff. It sure isn't discussed much in major media. And from the concerns I've seen in Ron's townhalls in New Hampshire, it will go over well in the Live Free or Die state.

I agree, and it is sort of a public service announcement at the same time -- to people who aren't following this stuff. It sure isn't discussed much in major media. And from the concerns I've seen in Ron's townhalls in New Hampshire, it will go over well in the Live Free or Die state.

Are the future MB themes already planned out?

Because this is exactly the type of message that could further propel Ron upwards in the polls. This song really makes the videos so incredibly easy. Wow.

Nooo. We want to expand the base. That theme would turn many away.

It's why I was skeptical about the Tea Party theme. Even though it was very successful, it was still aimed at a very specific group.

Sailingaway's idea is more along the lines of the Black This Out campaign, which was insanely cool, edgy, and practically wrote itself.

I like tying something to Reagan for a future money bomb, but we are in part trying to counter the weight of this 'racist' nonsense on people newly attracted to Ron and less sure, that would be cross over voters and the young, who don't as much identify with Reagan because they have heard mixed stuff about him, but would identify with these issues. They are just trying to depress turn out with those who were doing it as an objection but don't have as much of a stake in Ron, per se. We need to remind them of the issues Ron stands for, not of Reagan.
