People are forcing them to cover SOPA and NDAA. We should chime in on this... this is weird.
Some are saying it's a reddit operation.

It's been a big deal for months for a lot of people and they've ignored it until now. People have been flooding CNN until they cover it and NDAA. CNN is just now aware of these things?

The reddit article is spot on. We can all change the coverage ourselves if we engage with the local media, and perhaps the big networks if you get enough people talking. I work in local television myself and they always do need stories. Call a local station and tell them how we raised +4million in a weekend. And it doesn't have to be just Dr. Paul either. The SOPA act, the NDAA, Fast&Furious, etc.. The problem is when these local stations don't have much material. They then rely on their Networks video/news source for stories. It is the MSM that tends to marginalize RP and the campaign in the news packages. So when the producer is short on ideas or just being lazy, they use the national stories that ignore Ron Paul. If you get enough people to call these stations, newspapers, blogs to inform them of a story or simply demand Ron Paul, THEY WILL LISTEN. If enough people are persistent, the local media, and perhaps national will start to give us more time.

Fantastic points Colby! I'll hit up my local media station right now on fb. These types of things should be coordinated more often as a huge group.
I'm sure we have all seen more Ron Paul on TV, but I have seen an exponential increase in stories at my station. We used to air him once every other week or so. Now we air 3-5 stories a week. For one, he is from Texas so the local angle is there even though most stations in Texas salivate over Perry. But, I also nag alot to these producers in here. Keeping them fair with their scripts. Call every one of your local stations. Demand you see more Ron Paul. Tell them you are a fan of the station and you are a loyal viewer. Don't be a jerk. But if you get, sayyyy 12 people to call each station, they will appease you.
A video on YouTube is going viral about SOPA, over 600,000 views so far, and I've seen Ron's name mentioned a few times. Of course there are the typical trolls, but a good opportunity to hop in and say Ron's against this. I did, but the comments are coming in so damn fast that no one probably noticed much :P
