It should be brought to caucuses along with RON's head to head polling numbers. I hated that polls in Iowa last week showed at the same time that only 4% THOUGHT Ron could best beat Obama, and that IN FACT in head to head polls against Obama, only Ron tied him, Romney was 8 points behind, Gingrich 9.

10 points behind is very, very bad - especially considering that Rasmussen is noted for being a Republican-leaning pollster.

Ron hasn't had his chance to be matched against Obama while coalescing the base. This is Gingrich at his peak support.
The campaign obviously knows about the unelectable perception of RP. Probably the only thing holding them back from running ads about it is money.
Many people that are so soft in their support or have no clue who they want to vote for their biggest concern is beating Obama. A solid poll that shows RP ahead of Obama while ones like the above would seal the deal with a lot of GOP and independent voters. They dislike Obama a lot more than they care about RP non interventionist foreign policy.

some new Ipsos poll also contrasted only the media appointed frontrunners - Newt Romney with Obama and both were losing by a 13 and 8 point margin. they dont put Paul on that one on one.
