PRIORITY #3: Verify Dr Paul will be on your GOP Primary Ballot!!

PRIORITY #2: Get Ron on the primary ballot in all 50 states!

The Virginia thread below reminded me this was very important.

Although I am sure the campaign is working very hard on this, the meetup groups in every state must be willing to coordinate and make sure Ron has all the proper signatures to qualify to get his name on the primary ballot!

Since the GOP has many tricks up their sleeve and rules and regulations to go along with it, then it is vitally important that the meetup start working on getting him on the ballot right away!

After confirmation of Ron being on the ballot in a state, we should list what states have Ron on the primary ballot and which states we need to work on. Remember Ron cannot win the nomination if he not on the ballot in the first place!

Make sure you check your State's Election Dept website for the rules of getting him on the primary ballot.

It may be that all that needs to happen is the State GOP needs to designate him a nationally viable candidate (absent any easier require as below). If so, start making phone calls!

The easier method may be a State law that allows any candidate that is eligible for Federal Matching Funds automatically gets on the ballot. The FEC has already listed Dr Paul as eligible.

With all due respect - this post being stuck is not helpful, we need a post with calls to action for IL and VA - contact emails, phone numbers, etc.

    Illinois needs your help

For Illinois at least please go to this page:

    http://ronpaul.meetup.com/94/message...thread=3732321

And contact Jason Acebal, our ballot coodinator. If you live in Illinois or a close region the best thing you can do to help Ron Paul this weekend is to help out with gathering signatures to get him and his delegates on the ballot. If they're not on there no one can vote for them. We need thousands of signatures, hundreds (at the least) in each district, and there are 19 of them.

Does anyone have an official list?

How can you be a presidential nominee and not be on all the states ballots? I didnt even realize this was an issue.

Do some searches on this forum for some good information. I've posted at least a hundred times on it. There is a whole subforum devoted to it...

    Question

Can we start a list here of which states he's on the ballot and which states he's not? A list that we can look at at a glance so we ALL know where to focus our attention would be of assistance.
