    Ron Paul's VP pick

We still have a primary campaign ahead of us but I think John Stossel would be a good VP pick. Given that a VP doesn't do as much, Stossel could still host his show. Any other idea's on who can be RP running mate?

Man, we've beat this horse to death, revived it, and beat it to death again so many times...

Still, I think it would be wise to select someone that leans our way, but the establishment can still accept. I'd say Rand, but that'd be too strange for most people. Daniels may do the trick.

No matter who he ends up choosing, most of us won't like the pick for one reason or another. Either he stays too close to his views which doesn't broaden the vote and the person will have little government experience, or he picks some who's a little further away and we'll be pissed that he didn't select a Ron Paul clone.

It's a lose/lose situation. I just hope we can all get on board no matter who is chosen.

The more I think about it, the less his VP's positions actually matter. Yes, we all want a free-market austrian up there, but the most important thing is that THEY CAN'T BE BOUGHT.

A VP pick isn't going to matter if we don't have a Paul ticket. We need to focus on getting there first.

hes not bringing anything to the table. look for someone like Fortuno or Demint to get the VP nod.

And still we put the cart before that horse.

You know, on top of the 'our man isn't presumptuous' angle, keeping the question open could also be a huge advantage in the brokered convention I foresee in our future.

    Paul/Fortuņo 2012

    • Fortuņo is young, he brings great balance to the ticket and will quash any concerns about Ron Paul's age.
    • Fortuņo is fresh to the political scene, the media will fawn over a young Hispanic republican and hype the ticket.
    • Fortuņo has executive experience.
    • Fortuņo has private sector experience.
    • Fortuņo is Hispanic which will help Ron Paul win Florida, Nevada, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado and be competitive in other traditionally democratic states.
