The plot thickens. This seat was probably designed to nudge Berger into giving up, and becoming an "open" seat for the Wake GOP candidates to spar over. IE, there might have been a city councilman or county commissioner eyeing a run... But with Berger in, its possible that strong GOP challengers to Glen may hold back. It's a lot of work and money to fight a primary as well as an entrenched incumbent.
