    Maybe the CBS black out was a blessing in disguise.

    It seems like quite a few Republicans look to Ron as an authority on fiscal issues, but disagree on his foreign policy. Maybe him not having a chance to bring this disagreement into the spotlight again worked to his advantage.

    I think it was a blessing but not for those reasons.

    Most people who watch those political debates know by now he is the anti-war candidate.
    The black out makes it obvious to many people watching of the obvious black out, that in itself helps him as an anti-establishement candidate. Also CBS are on the back foot and will be for some time. Plus it has energised some core Dr Paul supporters, to call out the media. When there is enough people willing to hassle the media people (especially those in charge) then the media will change it's coverage.
