Yeah, trying to get them to vote in the primary for Ron is a lost cause. I've been saying that. Only 2% are Republicans. Energy is better focused elsewhere.

"Other" being Gary Johnson. They don't want him as President, they just don't like the Republicans.

  5. #4
I wouldn't choose "The Republican nominee" either.

it could be Ralph nader, we have no idea, the rest of the world is 'other'. However, in other for Nov 2012, Other could be Ron, and they just don't know that he'll be the Republican nominee yet.

Ralph Nader for the Republican nomination ? Johnson is pretty popular with those guys, especially through reddit. He is pro-science .

Just ripe for RP...Yeaw right Out of a 1,000 OWS 20 would vote republican and of those 5 would vote for RP.
Ripe for RP voters. You might want to change your thread title to "99.5% of the OWS would vote against RP" You can't get any more RP unfriendly than that.

I wonder if it's too late to get them registered for the primaries, if needed.

What percentage of Americans don't even vote?

Not a chance. There wasn't a choice for Maxist.
When it comes to politics, do you usually think of yourself as (check one):
    Extremely liberal………………………………………………….39
    Liberal…………………………………………………………….33
    Slightly liberal…………………………………………………......8
    Moderate/middle of the road……………………………………..15
    Slightly conservative………………………………………………2
    Conservative……………………………………………………….3
    Extremely conservative……………………………………………1
80% consider themselves liberal to extremely liberal.

How much of the time do you think you can trust the government in Washington to do what
    is right?
    Just about always……………………………………………..1
    Most of the time………………………………………………5
    Only some of the time……………………………………….52
    Never………………………………………………………...42
57% think they can trust the government.
Only 37% think they can change the republican party.
60% think they can change the democratic party.
Like I said they consider themselves the tea party of the democratic party.

During '07 I remember one of my professors doing a survey on the demographics of the class and she was bewildered to see that the majority of self-avowed "socialists" in her poli sci 101 class supported Ron Paul. I guess maybe it was his social stances or the fact that they could have local socialism under a Paul plan.
    just me
