Just had an epiphany while writing an email to someone

This is may not be a new concept to you guys but I never strongly connected the dots until now so maybe someone can get something out of it.

I've always thought about why do the elites of this world want socialism and communism. I understood two reasons which are more top down power and more people dependent on them. However, now I understand one more reason: Comfort breeds complacency.

I understand this in my own life and work to fix it because my family is so loving and giving that it breeds within me complacency at times. Well if the goal of liberals is to have everyone comfortable, guess what that effect will have. It will create people who don't care any more about politics. They don't care to protest, riot, volunteer, or protect their rights. They're comfortable and that's all that matters.

This gives the elites free reign to do whatever they want because nobody cares enough to keep watch!

Im thinking we are at the dependence back into bondage stage.

Dont forget there is more than one way and one goal of coersion. For example, without Privacy, people are Coerced into Conformity. And Conformity and Complacency are not that different.

Everything revolves if we learn to live slower then the revolutions won't be as frequent. We need to bring about a collapse now so we can go ahead and start over.Its like when you wake up with a hangover and are feeling sick to your stomach the best thing to do is gag yourself and throw-up so you can begin to feel better. Sure its violent and messy but it has to be done. Civilization needs to purge.

Who are the elites? Maybe a list should be made, find out where their mountain hideaways are now.
