35 dollars? I feel like this could be a month's wage in rural India.

30 days *.40/day=$12 dollars per month!

or 2.9 months of work at .40 per day for one quarter of the population of India to buy a tablet. I'm sure it will be a hit..

On the flip side, it is cool that they can make on that cheap. They should sell it in the US. I'd buy one.

I read it would be $60 if you are not poor. Thus it will fail like the One Laptop Per Child socialist nonsense where they charged over double the price for developed nations, thus alienating those who would have developed the software.
