    Yes, this is exact study that I'm referencing when I talk about the dangers of groupthink both in those we wish to persuade and even among our own grassroots.

    There's another study that shows if a group is exposed to wrong ideas, they are more likely to survive adversity and to discover creative solutions that would have been otherwise untapped by them. Thus, cognitive diversity is essential to group success.

    We must promote dissent. It helps us far more than it hurts us. Disagreement means we're thinking and we care. The group will find the right answers if we're more tolerant of those who offer the wrong answers. It's been proven again and again in study after study.

    Be the black sheep, and you'll save the herd. ...if the herd doesn't kill you first.
