This is what a POLICE STATE looks like! Ron Paul should speak out against this!!

A lot of the protesters on Wall Street are Ron Paul supporters, we can't allow this to happen in America!

I never thought Id see Lawrence reporting like that. Pretty much agree with him though. Law enforcement is riddled with a lack of accountability.

What is really weird is towards the end as he is getting angrier the digital artifacts that seem to occur only in his face make him look like he is possessed.

Those cops are lucky a riot didn't start.

I agree and have my doubts he would have covered it if there had not been so many Socialists and left wingers at the rally.

If it were Tea Party people he would have complained that they didn't kill any of them.

Spot on except for the race rant in the middle that was rendered totally irrelevant by the NYPD footage that showed the police tactics are not targeted at any particular demographic.

Involvement with things like this is not the way to win a Republican primary.

Let the protesters do their thing.

Let the campaign work to effect change from within the system.

How I wish it would have. It's too bad most Americans are so damn passive.

I would say that Paul needs to mix in the police state a few more times than normal. maybe bring up "the police state isn't friendly to protesters." something like that.

People need to start doing what they did at that soccer game and rush the police in massive numbers when they start brutalizing people.

The irony... The same people being assaulted by the police, are the advocates of communism and socialism.

Don't kid yourself, the police absolutely are often biased. Every time emails are leaked, some of the most vile bigotry turns up. Just look at the drug arrest/jail ratios for blacks vs whites - and if anything, i'd say the cops are more biased than the courts.

The use of force to impose morality is itself immoral, and generosity with others' money is still theft.

If our society were a forum, congress would be the illiterate troll that somehow got a hold of the only ban hammer.

That would be great -- not to harm the cops, but just to move them away from the victims. If done fast enough, with large enough numbers, there would be little risk to the participants.

Law Enforcement Officers what the hell is THAT, what happened to Peace Officers? When did this change? What's the difference? These are obviously Banker LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS the entire country needs to be awoken to this. These THUGS use the term Peace Officers ONLY when it serves their interest. You better believe they were instructed to use force. Which they clearly did. Scum of the earth putting job ahead of anyone or anything else. The decent people need to get out of agency because if they don't they will be guilty by association.
Remember the revolutions recently in the middle east, those protecting the dictators there (same here) were rounded up having throats slit and thrown off bridges. IT IS COMING HERE.

I could easily see the same thing happening at a rp event.

I'm sure we will care more when and if that happens...

Hopefully someone asks him about it in an interview.

If he played his cards right it could help him win the Republican primary. First he could point out that the unrest is due to a bad economy that's been exacerbated by Obama's horrid economic policies even if the protestors don't realize that. Conservatives have been talking about the potential for economic unrest lately. Second he could play on growing conservative fears over a policy state. Even Chuck Norris has noticed that Janet Napolitano is targeting conservatives as terrorists. Third he could point out that Wall Street needs to get back to its free market roots and away from the crony capitalism/corporate socialism that is a cause for a lot of the anger.

Ehh, I doubt it would happen at one of our events. We're too smart for it.

Eeehhhhhhhhhhh, he's gotta walk a fine line to pull all of that off.

That or any other event. This will be used as precedents in a way. not mentioned per say, just a slow escalation that will spread to different cites and elsewhere. just like if we stop enforcing shop lifting. That will slowly lead to mas-genocide.

that sounds melodramatic but its true.

Gatta nip this stuff in the butt. though we should have been nipping a long time ago. Much harder now.

The risk of being seen as complicit with the protesters is greater than any possible benefit.

This is a Republican primary, work within the system.

Just because a white person gets pepper sprayed doesn't mean that cops, on a whole, don't treat black people worse. It's like saying you're not racist because you have a black friend. It doesn't mean anything.
