The state GOP says a new vote total for the Maine caucuses that tackles all outstanding issues will be announced in March, though it has no bearing on the real prize for Ron Paul: delegates.

Honestly... We are not going to win Maine. The fact is that they won't let Ron win. They keep getting away with fudging numbers and doing sneaky bullsh1t. I think we all know that they will pull some more shenanegans before 100% has reported.

Right now they are damned. If they let Ron win they are damned. If they fix it so Romney win they are damned. They might as well let Romney win since they are damned either way.

If they ever do allow him to win, it will be a year after the current election, and will get a by-line on page 7, but NEVER make the cover. This is what happened to the Nevada GOP in 2008, they released the results in 2009 that RON PAUL HAD WON THE NEVADA STATE PRIMARY.

If state level Paul people have the majority at the convention, they could declare the straw poll illegitimate and hold a fresh straw poll right there. The convention *IS* the party.
