Roger Waters (Pink Floyd) eye opening solo career.

Any Pink Floyd fans out there? Try some Roger Waters solo stuff.
Anti-war, anti-establishment, anti-sheeple, PAY attention to the man behind the curtain type stuff.

There's so much good stuff from 'Amused to Death' that I'm posting the whole album
My suggestion would be to look up the lyrics to the songs and read them as you listen. Album highlights: Perfect Sense parts 1 & 2, and the title track 'Amused to Death.'

    The Ballad of Bill-Hubbard

    What God Wants, Part 1

Perfect Sense, Part 1/ Perfect Sense, Part 2

The Bravery of Being out of Range

    Late Home Tonight, Part 1

    Late Home Tonight, Part 2

    Too Much Rope

    What God Wants, Part 2

    What God Wants, Part 3

    Watching TV

    ....continued on next post

Another great album is 'Radio K.A.O.S' Here's a few songs from that album.

    The Powers that Be

    The Tide is Turning

Here's a single he released in 2004 in response to the Iraq War

    To Kill the Child

I would also strongly suggest listening to the Pink Floyd album 'Animals.' It's Animal Farmish in nature. Each animal represents a person or ideology.

Pigs on the Wing, Part 1

    Dogs

    Pigs (Three Different Ones)

    Sheep

Pigs on the Wing, Part 2

Happy listening, there's way more great Floyd stuff out there, hope this turns you on.

Caught his "Radio Chaos" tour in London at Wembly Arena. He tried to set it up as a radio program- played some of his solo stuff and some Floyd stuff with live question and answer with the audience between segments.

That is my favorite Pink Floyd album. Deep, very deep. After you listen to that you have to assess your whole outlook on war, soldiers, veterans, politicians, honor, war propaganda, morality. These guys were fighting a world war for something, but it wasn't the same thing that their leaders were. You really have to examine in hindsight, 'what did they promise when they took us to war?' and 'do we have that now?' The album is subtitled 'A Requiem for a Post War Dream.' Let's live up to it guys.

    Side 1
    The Post War Dream

    Your Possible Pasts

    One of the Few

    When the Tigers Broke Free

    The Hero's Return

    The Gunner's Dream

    Paranoid Eyes

    The Fletcher Memorial Home

    Southampton Dock

    The Final Cut
