I had friends threatened with arrest if they went to their own homes (that were not flooded). Ron Paul IS RIGHT.

These are the stories that need to make a headline. Someone almost arrested for wanting to go to their own, non-flooded home. What property rights?

I don't think I've ever heard a better endorsement of Ron Paul than this...
"And now that the legislators and do-gooders have so futilely inflicted so many systems upon society, may they finally end where they should have begun: May they reject all systems, and try liberty; for liberty is an acknowledgment of faith in God and His works." - Bastiat

That's right - Ron is out to lunch paying for his food with his own earned money. Sanders believes in a "free lunch".

    Nobody cares about Bernie Saunders.

If a self proclaimed socialist believes Ron Paul is out to lunch on any issue, I know that Ron must definitely be right!

"We are a nation. We are not 50 individual states," Sanders said. "Vermont stands with other states when they're in trouble, and other states stand with us. That's what being a nation is about."
If it were, then no bureaucratic federal program would need to require enforcement. States would voluntarily offer their own emergency services to neighboring states in need.

The "big government is needed" mentality for issues concerning a charitable heart show a lack of faith in one's fellow man.
You either believe that within your society more individuals are good than evil, and that by protecting the freedom of individuals within that society you will end up with a society that is as fair as possible, or you believe that within your society more individuals are evil than good, and that by limiting the freedom of individuals within that society you will end up with a society that is as fair as possible.

Not exactly a surprising reaction coming from an avowed socialist.

    Agreed.

Hey Berine I hear there this pro-independence group called the Second Vermont Republic. I think they might like a word with you.

Good, then Vermont can help pay back the $14.5 trillion national debt!

Ron would not disagree with Sanders that "we are a nation." I'm sure Ron would expect the generosity of people in other states to assist and help with a disaster in any particular state. Sanders misses the point here. FEMA is a bungling, inefficient, expensive, totalitarian terrorist organization whose main function is to manage a police state grid when the time comes.

Sounds good to me. Having Bernie Sanders publicly disagree with you is great press if you're running for the GOP nomination.
