Juneau area supporters...

I am in Juneau (Douglas). Would love to meet up with the exiting group, or start a one.

I saw that there is no group listed on http://freedomatlas.org and would like to gather our efforts... but I didn't want to create a group if there is already one in motion.

I am a Coastie wife, somewhat new to the area, and have plenty of free time. I also have a creative background, and experience in party politics (Republican party while living in VA).

So, if anyone has info on what is going on here in Juneau, I am all ears and here to help!

Juneau is about 700-800 miles SE from there (as the crow flies) and accessible from air & sea only.

I am sure there is a larger effort, with possibly a meeting place in Anchorage, but not in Juneau.

I am interested in working with (or even gathering) supporters here in Juneau, if there are any! I can't imagine there are none here as this is the 3rd largest city in the state, with 30,000 people.

Start a meetup group online. You will have to foot the bill for setting it up (not too expensive for a month or two then cancel), but you should get some people together doing that. I did that last cycle and had success with it. Another thing is contact the campaign for a list of people that donated to RP campaign in Juneau and contact people for meeting that way.
