This year, as town council, school board and other local elections are held across the nation, voters are getting involved like never before and are standing up to demand accountability and responsibility from their elected officials. As states face critical budget issues, town councils have to decide whether to cut spending or raise local taxes, and corrupt elected officials are taken to task, our country needs patriots who are organized, effective and ready to stand for lower taxes, transparency, and Constitutional government.

American Majority, along with the Family Foundation, and with support from NoVA TEA, will be holding a grassroots activist training event that will be geared toward helping people across Virginia take their defense of liberty and fight for limited government to the next level. Topics to be discussed include:

- 10 Tips to Full Speed: A look at some practical things activists and local groups can do to help make an impact in the last 3 months prior to an election.

- Winning Matters 2011 (The Family Foundation): working with churches to educate and motive voters in their congregations.

- Grassroots Action: Addresses the most effective ways that local groups can build coalitions within their communities and hold elected officials accountable.

The training will be held on Thursday, August 25th from 6pm-9pm at Centreville Baptist Church, located at 15100 Lee Highway.

Online registration is $25.00 for the first person, and $10.00 for each additional person.
