Default Caucus Process and How to Become a Delegate

    Caucus Process

    1. At Presidential Caucuses, voters vote for the Republican Presidential nominee.

    2. If one candidate receives more than 2/3 of the statewide vote, that candidate receives all the delegates. Otherwise, delegates are allocated proportionally to those candidates receiving 15% or more of the vote.

    How to Become a Delegate

    1. Submit an application that states your interest in becoming a delegate to the Republican National Convention.

    2. Delegates to the Republican National Convention will be chosen by a select panel who will consider the following criteria:
    • Amount of money donated to the North Dakota Republican Party
    • Amount of volunteering for the North Dakota Republican Party
    • Previous participation in the State Convention and Republican National Convention.

I posted six threads for six DIFFERENT states in each states' subforum. Each state has its own process.
