Stossel semi-endorses Ron Paul on the O'Riley show.... 9 Aug

So I was watching the O'Riley show on Fox (it happens occasionally) and John Stossel was on. O'Riley suggested the Tea Party get a "front man" to lay out the fact and defend the movement.

Stossel doesn't miss a beat...he replied "Well, we have Ron Paul".

O'Riley actually sat silent for a second with a sort of shocked/surprised look on his face.

Stossel kept on by saying "Look Bill, i know you have your issues with Ron Paul but..."

O'Riley then said "I like Ron Paul as a man, but as a President?...."

Stossel followed up with, "Yes, you want him as President."

Forgive me, as although I'm using quotes, I'm paraphrasing. Either way, it was a great endorsement on a VERY popular show. Stossel was dead serious and was obviously already set on Ron Paul being his guy. Also, I apologize if someone already posted this. I looked and did not see it.

Stossel bet Or'eilly that Ron Paul has a chance to win delegates in the GOP primary. Proceeds from the bet go to wounded warriors. This is back in like Feb 2011. Stossel is on our team, obviously O'reilly isn't.

Yes, it was on about 30 minutes ago (or so). It may have been a rerun, but it was covering VERY current issues, so i doubt it.

Stossel has come out and said "Ron Paul is right on everything" on O'Reilly's show before. He is definitely on our team.

It's possible to support both. Sure, you can't vote for two, but that's just your vote. You can support two.
