[Facepalm] Hacker Group Anonymous Vows To Destroy Facebook On November 5

This site does not reach out to millions of people who would not hear any alternative views like FB does. The government has been monitoring all internet usage no matter what site is used, does anyone here actually believe that TIA and other programs were ever shut down?

Of course "they" do, facebook has many business connections with the CIA. Facebook has also seen itself slipping recently. Better to do soemthing spectacular now, then wait until facebook looks like myspace.

Anon uses FB for recruitment and announcements. A lot of other anti establishment outlets use it too. I tend to agree with UWDude, people know there are sock puppets and they are loosing.

Thank god the Ron Paul campaign doesn't share the same view as you. Social media is one of the top tools we need to use in order to promote Ron Paul and our message. Facebook, Twitter, and other sites are huge forces in modern day politics. You can't ignore it and hope to win an election.

I'm not passing judgement on Kokesh, but Hal Turner is a good example of how it would work. Turner was a radio host/FBI informant between 2003 and 2008 and worked with the FBI as far back as 1993. His job, as a radio host, was to use racist, incendiary language, being careful not to break any laws, while getting people to call in and say something that did break the law. Then he turned over information on the callers to the FBI. More than a hundred people became the subject of an FBI investigation because of Turner.

Turner was outed by anonymous in early 2008 after they published some of his email correspondence with his FBI handler.

Anonymous does not support killing Facebook on November 5

News broke yesterday that the hacktivist group Anonymous is vowing to destroy Facebook on November 5, 2011 (Guy Fawkes Day). Now there is speculation that it’s all just a hoax. After a little digging, I’ve found that the collective group Anonymous doesn’t support what a few of its members are reportedly up to.

If Facebook is indeed attacked on November 5, 2011, it does not appear that Anonymous as a whole will be supporting the hacks.
