    The bill, S. 782, would increase funding for the Public Works and Economic Development Administration (EDA) to $500 million, from the nearly $300 million it received in fiscal 2011.
    I love seeing how serious the Democrats are about reducing the deficit.

    Yeah, and the sad thing is that most of the Republicans in the Senate will probably vote for it as well. Senator Inhofe is actually a co-sponsor of the bill.

    It hasn't been voted on yet. I don't know whether it will be or not. The Senate really doesn't do anything these days.

    "...the Economic Development Revitilization Act of 2011, which will re-authorize a very important program that's been in place in this country, in this great nation* since 1965..."

    I guess they've been revitalizing something for over four decades, and it's very important that they continue to do so, because otherwise this country would be quickly devitalized.
