Yeeeah... and then once Paul's out of office, the changes get undone.
You change nothing if you don't change minds.

Is there a video from this weekend? Been busy, would like to check out Adam dancing 2.0
Sorry, but you are dead wrong. Paul needs to win the election. THEN, he will have the bully pulpit to educate the voters that have ears to hear. Right now, we just need their votes.
Rand understood this and that is why he won.
I hate to tell you, but you are not going to talk many into reading 10 books from Mises. They are coming back around to small government and the Constitution and that is good. However, some people seem to believe that we have to shove the whole 9 yards down their throats and they have to agree with it, BEFORE we will accept their votes. It is irrational and it will help make sure that Dr. Paul stays out of the White House.

My music/art page is here"government is the enemy of liberty"-RPOriginally Posted by Ron Paul
That which doesn't kill me has made a grave tactical error
No, hb. There was a www.ronpaullibrary.com. It had all of Paul's speeches categorized by subject. It was wonderful. My understanding is that the guy who put it up, brought it down when the articles on Dr. Paul's congressional site were moved and also some of them were not put back up. I haven't checked the latter, but that is what I remember being told.
No, it's not the promised land, but it gives us another seat at the table, so that some of the bad things done by the government can be undone; even some of the chairs at that table being sent down to the states and the people.
If your sole goal is education, stop and think about how much more Rand has been able to educate since he has become a Senator. If he had not been in it to win, but instead focused his campaign on education, his voice would have been quieted long ago.
Have kids? Ever even seen a kid?
If you want a child to try something he or she isn't too sure about, you connive them into trying one little bite. If it works, soon the whole plate will be clean.
A few successes and Ron Paul on the 'Bully Pulpit' will make a huge difference. It will get the libertarian philosophy a chance to not only be understood, but a chance to be considered a proven, successful strategy.
Get the man in there and let him do some good on one front--say, get rid of the Department of Education--and let everyone see how materially and how quickly education changes for the better. Then some people will ask why.
The truth will become the new conventional wisdom before you know it. All it takes is a little proof. And the best way--make that the only way--to get that proof is to get the man some votes so he can get in the White House. Because a few dozen more 434-1 votes in the House won't do it.
We can't let them redirect the debate back to Red/Blue. Rand Paul's filibuster served as a clarion call, and opened eyes to the real divide--liberty v. tyranny. Everyone saw the president stall twenty-four hours before the AG confirmed we still have Constitutional due process. Don't let them turn this back into 'Left'/'Right' dogmaganda.
We, the People--'Red' and 'Blue'--must hang together or surely we will hang seperately.
