Default Unpatriot Act - House Roll Call

    http://clerk.house.gov/evs/2011/roll376.xml

Good God, these idiots called the bill "Small Business Additional Temporary Extension Act of 2011".

What the F&*@K does State surveillance and an indefinite suspension of private property rights have ANYTHING to do with small businesses?

Our government never fails to amaze me.

In other news, I noticed Allen West voted against this bill. That's VERY surprising. I'm not fully convinced he's actually against this bill. Maybe he voted against it because he knew it would pass...? That way, when he runs for President in 2016 (or run for VP this year) they can't get him for being anti-gun rights.

Politics really sucks. I really don't even know why I follow this shitfest in DC.

Interesting: House Dems 122-54 "Nay." Going against Obama and the Senate? Anybody have any explanations here?

I think merging bills should be illegal somehow.

Flake has a Senate election to win, so that may explain his lack of voting. Chaffetz voted against it. Hopefully he displaces Orrin Hatch next year.

I notice Flake ends up not voting on some very important bills.

Pelosi steps forward as a champion of the constitution.

In other news: Nobody here is commenting on why House democrats overwhelmingly voted nay.

maybe because of Pelosi, maybe they fear primaries, and their votes weren't needed anyway.
Bachmann must think its still popular in the GOP base for her to skip a fundraiser to vote for it.
