Excellent idea--community announcement sections too in newspapers, radio and TV (do they still do that?). The local "alternative" papers would be good for young, anti-war recruits too!

I've been doing this - once a week in the "groups" section -
I totally agree. First, craigslist is good recruiting grounds, and secondly, meetup.com is the foundation on which the R3volution is based so make sure and post a link to your meetup.com group.
