In the debate he baited Ron with the heroin question, it sounds like a logical libertarian philosophy question, but no one is going to legalize heroin tomorrow, Ron's legislative position is that it is a state matter, and more of that won't help Ron. Papers are already saying that he 'wants to legalize heroin and prostitution' as if that were his PLATFORM. It is just a more subtle way of marginalization, to draw out esoteric (to the mainstream) libertarian philosophic points. It reminds me of Maddow and the civil rights act, except with out the race overtones. It still was a subject where most clearly don't identify with the libertarian point of view, and is being used to paint Ron as extreme.
