Default How did we do in Greenville?

There was an interesting comment by a lady in the after show that the person that wins the SC debate has always won the SC primary since 1980. So who won the Debate?

To further muddy the water, everyone that didn't attend was poling in double digits locally and nationally, while those that did attend all polled in single digits.

We have a habit of winning online polls, but that can hide reality. True, we did win some text in polls last time, so maybe, but Paul and Cain were pretty much head to head when the URL's started going around.

Local news coverage was different than national. For the most part, it was fair and lacked spin. National news was heavy on spin. For people in SC that didn't watch it, we probably made points. For people nationwide that didn't the message was pushing T-PAW, dark horse candidates, second tier, lesser known, not worth watching, etc.

    Some local news:

There is a good pic of RP supporters on this page.

Our military is not defense ... it is warmongering and empire building.
Government police do not protect ... they control.
Regulations do not regulate ... they protect the status quo.
Government banks do not distribute money based on effort ... it is gifted to close friends ... and some of it trickles down.

The result is war, poverty, fear, chaos, and hopelessness for most people with abundance for a few elite.

IIRC, she said that every winner of the SC Republican primary has gone on to win the party's nomination (since 1980) - which is presumably why she thought the SC debate was so important.

Also, your greenvilleonline.com links all seem to be to for-pay/subscriber-only content.

re: quote - you are correct.

annoying. if you go to google news, expand "see all 991 stories" for the debate stories, then scroll down to the bottom and expand again on local stories at the bottom - those links will get you past the pay block.

That's odd - worked earlier. I did get in earlier, now I'm only getting in on the second link. Guessing the newspaper wanted to cash in on all the $2 day passes so changed that.
