Karger's been invited to the May 5 event? This says so....

They specifically wanted to keep him out before, so I doubt they're inviting him now.

On the other hand, they don't have many people there. I don't know, it quotes something and I see the same story a half dozen different places on the web....but you could be right.

Yeah, but Karger's entire platform is that "I'm gay and conservatives are corrupt bigots." Not exactly someone most Republicans want to associate with in any way at all. Him showing at the debate will simply give him a platform to spew off his homosexuality on a national stage, something I doubt the SCGOP wants to be too heavily involved in.

He was invited, but he states that he still needs to meet the criteria of polling at 1% nationally:

So they invited him while safely assuming he will never register 1% in 5 national polls.

Gary Johnson has a much better likelihood that Karger. Karger has literally nothing going for him. He isn't even a popular gay dude. He's just some random homosexual former GOP staffer.

Yes, Gary has more of a chance of cracking the 1%, but I still don't see him managing it

When Johnson is included, he usually gets 1%. 1% isn't that hard to crack really. It could be done by accident. Karger isn't even mentioned (nor should he be), that's why he doesn't crack 1%.

The requirement is 1% in five national polls.
