We’ve been told that former Ark. Gov. Mike Huckabee, a rumored candidate for the Republican presidential nomination, is giving his former S.C. supporters the nod to seek work on other presidential campaigns. The word is that he’s told South Carolina staffers that they have his blessing for them to peddle their wares elsewhere. If this is as true as it appears, it’s the second major shakeup. Monday, Miss. Gov. Haley Barbour surprised everyone but himself when he announced that he would not seek the GOP nod.

jist when i wuz gettin' warm + fuzzy thoughts about mr. huckabee's
high moral integrity! maybe the nicest thing ron paul can do is point
out to mike huckabee's people that he too is a man of integrity and is
not given to prankish instances of dirty pool or snarky tricks of the trade!

in february of 2008 DRUDGE thought hillary clinton was
about to drop out of the race. it took her several more
months to even get close to quitting all told. i admit the
impeccible logic behind the story on the heels of the news
about gov. barbour did have me thinking mike huckabee was
carefully weighing his options as he seeks out a path, a way!!!

It's that Million+ salary at FOX NEWS, peddling his book, and growing his viewing audiences, that's keeping him at bay. He's still young enough to wait it out before submitting to the overlords in 2016. Plus the data deletion and problems in Arkansas fade.
