in 2009, Ann came out and endorsed RP 2012 as the best choice of anyone she could think of for President. On Fox RedEye

Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand?... The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin's thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt! If...if...We didn't love freedom enough. And even more – we had no awareness of the real situation.... We purely and simply deserved everything that happened afterward.” ― Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn

There is a difference between actually respecting someone and showing respect for someone for political purposes.

    Sincerely,

Actually, she has said on TV she might support RP in 2012 because the only thing she disagreed with him on was foreign policy and that might not be as big an issue in 2012. Since then she seems to have moved towards Christie, but she had been pretty pro-Ron.

    Incontinence is rarely attractive.

Feelings are one thing. Inability to cover them as a tactic or to show respect to the AUDIENCE is something else.

However, this topic has been beaten to death. Some want to use high profile events to make alliances and grow support, others want to use them to make more visible protests. I suspect the latter don't see much value in political process, and I don't know that any amount of discussion is going to change people's views if they aren't changed already.

Their wrong doesn't mean our wrong is better.

Christie is adamant he won't run, so we still have some hope.

RP supporters might be young, but if we had not been at CPAC, the average age of all attendees would have been well over 40. There was a looot of gray in that ballroom!

Yes. The prove is that Ron Paul sopporters booed when CPAC announced that other candidate had won the strawpoll.

    Oh, wait...
