Busted! - Planned Parenthood Caught Advising Pimp About Underage Sex Slaves

Live Action, the pro-life group that has bedeviled Planned Parenthood with secretly recorded videotapes of its employees breaking the laws and peddling false medical information about abortion, released edited and full-length video recordings of the encounters at the Planned Parenthood clinic in Perth Amboy, N.J., early this week.

Live Action: Planned Parenthood Caught Again

    R. Cort Kirkwood | The New American
    02 February 2011

Like the employees of ACORN before it [1, 2], employees of Planned Parenthood, the largest abortion mill in the country, have been caught on video giving advice to undercover sex traffickers seeking contraception and abortions for fictive underage prostitutes.

I saw that tape . It is likely edited . I will say this only , ZERO tax dollars should be going to planned parenthood !!

I could have sworn last time they came out with these tapes, it turned out the main one they used the ACORN lady was placating them so she could do an investigation or something.. I think the folks in the OP ended up losing a lot of credibility.

Hope this doesn't turn out the same way.

Do you have a news story about that?
Last time I checked ACORN was defunded by the Government and nearly went bankrupt.

Looks particularly bad because a private organization (with some funding from govt) which helped low-income people was destroyed by right-wing disinformation.

Hah, well I won't say they weren't successful with their supposed "propaganda", which is a good thing in this case.. it just sucks that it took, well, supposedly dubious information to take them out.

I had heard a pretty convincing report back when this was all going on in September or October of 2009, I don't recall the report I heard, but this quote pretty much sums it up:

In at least six of those instances, either the activists did not clearly tell the ACORN employees that they were planning to engage in child prostitution; or the ACORN employees refused to help them or apparently deliberately misled them; or ACORN employees contacted the police following their visit.
    http://mediamatters.org/research/201007210054

Which sucks because I had been forwarding this story to quite a few people on the left and right, and the problem is I don't think they could prove either way, but this makes them look pretty bad.

I guess this story didn't hit the Mass Media. I don't see anything except this and MediaMatters.com.

Maddow also did a piece on it, too, but for the most part it was kept under the rug.

Kludge is pushing the leftist spin so hardcore.

First things first, ACORN spokesman said Jerry Browns office guaranteed they would fault O'Keefe. In the end, they said they did nothing illegal, which is true under California law they did nothing illegal, but the only editting they had found in the videos was that O'Keefe and Giles were dressed in normal clothes unlike in the title sequence. BFD. Doesn't change the fact these ACORN people are disgusting and hypocritical... ACORN the socialists wads that support high taxes for people who create jobs, but have no problem teaching prostitution rings how to evade taxes? Nice.

In the end, what editing could of been done to change the context? She tells them to have them tested and make sure they keep quiet about what happened and the video is quite clear and the audio is very good, so show me how they edited it.

The point is the ACORN sting was misrepresented by the activists.

"... The Times was wrong when it said that James O’Keefe, who shot the videos, was in the “gaudy guise” of a pimp when he accompanied Hannah Giles, dressed as a streetwalker, into Acorn offices, and that the paper mischaracterized what happened in the offices. O’Keefe didn’t present himself as a pimp, the argument goes, but as a clean-cut young man, sometimes a college student, trying to rescue his girlfriend and under-age girls from an abusive pimp. The Times’s version of events, FAIR said, was “wildly misleading.”

    ...

O’Keefe almost certainly did not go into the Acorn offices in the outlandish costume — fur coat, goggle-like sunglasses, walking stick and broad-brimmed hat — in which he appeared at the beginning and end of most of his videos. It is easy to see why The Times and other news organizations got a different impression. At one point, as the videos were being released, O’Keefe wore the get-up on Fox News, and a host said he was “dressed exactly in the same outfit he wore to these Acorn offices.” He did not argue.

    ..."

Honestly this is not really the point, it seems like focusing in the unimportant details.

¿Did the ACCORN employees help them or give them advise for child prostitution? Thats what matters. Are the tapes so edited that they give a bad impression or did the ACCORN employees really advise them for child prostitution activities?

If you check my post on the last page you'll see that the ones who "advised" them on child prostitution apparently either purposely gave them misleading information or they called the cops after they left.

So basically the whole thing is bull$#@!. Amazing, I though it was real.

Because they wanted to make it more commercial for tv. But its really not important. If the thing is real, it can be justified to expread some big problem with ACCORN. If the thing its not real its still the least of the problems in front of a blatant manipulation to make some people look like pedophiles supportesrs when they are not.

The FULL VIDEOS have been around for ages, if it was all in the editing then all the media is morons because the edited videos were the ones showing all the stuff they got caught saying and then there was a full version.

    Show me the editing.

I think I'm getting a reputation around here as someone who comes into threads and challenges any false facts, so why don't you do me a favor and challenge what I believe and prove to me they are edited.

So for a guy like me that dont want to see the whole videos and dont care too much about the artifact the producers tried to add or not to the videos to make them more popular, can you tell me if the ACCORN employees supported or helped this faking pedohphiles or they did not?

  27. #24
The full videos were only released in court. What FtL is referring to are the "full" edited versions released by O'Keefe.

"Rather than give advice on prostituting underage girls, human trafficking and cheating on taxes, the attorney general's office found ACORN members at times caught on to the scheme and called the police in the portions of the videos that were cut." There was also an ACORN employee who was prosecuted even though he called the police on them.

What really happened? I can't tell, and neither can he. Only the AG and the people who saw the real video can (they granted O'Keefe & Giles immunity in exchange for the tapes), and the AG at least called the videos a fraud where no illegal activities were committed.

There's tons of videos like this, girls posing as 15 year olds claiming that 30 year olds are the father and the employee ignores that fact/brushes it away. PP is disgusting.

I got really confused in this thread as it bounced between Planned Parenthood and ACORN.

Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion factory, has fired Amy Woodruff, manager of the Planned Parenthood office in Perth Amboy, N.J., the employee caught on videotape advising undercover pro-life activists about procuring abortions and contraception for underage illegal-alien prostitutes.

Planned Parenthood Fires Manager; Funding Attacked

    R. Cort Kirkwood | The New American
    07 February 2011

    ....

    Defund Planned Parenthood

According to LifeNews.com, the videos have inspired pro-life activists. They want to defund Planned Parenthood, which receives some $363 million annually in taxpayer funding.

Rep. Mike Pence, R-Ind., has introduced legislation to defund the organization.

In his floor speech on an amendment to Title X family planning programs, Pence explained that Planned Parenthood is the largest provider of abortion services as well as the largest recipient of federal family planning funds.

The Pence amendment before the Congress today simply states none of the funds made available under this act shall be available to Planned Parenthood for any purpose under Title X of the Public Health Services Act.

The largest abortion provider in America should not also be the largest recipient of federal funding under Title X, as I believe a majority of the American people would attest. The time has come to deny all federal funding to Planned Parenthood of America.
